Consultation Overview
The Methodology concerning the price coupling algorithm and continuous trading matching algorithm (provided under art. 37.5 of CACM) was approved by ACER on 26 July 2018 through Decision 08/2018 and its annex pursuant to art 9.11 of CACM (hereinafter the "Decision"). This consultation proposes a number of amendments to that Decision. The main basis for the amendments are the integration of a change control and algorithm monitoring, as foreseen by the Decision, as well as the integration of requirements for intraday auctions including relevant amendments of the SIDC product methodology following ACER Decision 01/2019. This is a joint consultation from all NEMOs and all TSOs. Information about this consultation, and relevant background documents, are also published on the ENTSO-E website: www.entsoe.eu

Why We Are Consulting
Any amendment of CACM Terms, Conditions or Methodologies needs to be submitted for public consultation for at least one month (pursuant to art 12 of CACM) in order to take into account stakeholder´s views on this reviewed proposal.

In your opinion, are the provisions related to Algorithm Change Control content in the Algorithm Methodology (See Title 4) appropriate, clear and proportionate? Please, justify any modification that you may deem necessary.
Would you propose any modification to the Algorithm requirements for SIDC (See Annex 2 of the draft Algorithm Methodology)? If so, please, justify them.
As regards Intraday cross-zonal capacity pricing auctions (IDAs), do you agree with the proposed framework? (See Articles 5 and 6) In particular, please comment on the timings (GOT, GCT) and the interaction between IDAs and intraday continuous trade.
The products to be supported by the IDAs will be in accordance with the products that are available for trading in SDAC. Do you agree with this approach?
Given the tight timeline and in order to preserve the maximum up-time of continuous cross border single intraday coupling (SIDC) trading, in case an IDA cannot be executed it will be cancelled and the cross-zonal capacity available at that time will be allocated through continuous single intraday coupling trading. Do you agree with this approach? Would you propose a different alternative?
